SOLD - light wooden basket

SOLD. Local vintage find. We're not far from Grasse, famous for its old perfume factories. This light wooden basket with handles was used to store and carry a large glass bottle containing litres of essential oils such as Tombarel's Freres, which would be have been destined to the perfumeries. Probably 40-50 years old. Light wood, basic build, we love it for that. Basic handles with gorgeous patina. Will make a great storage. I would also be tempted to add a lid and turn it into a little bed side table ! Dimensions : 37.5cm diam at the top (excl handles) ; 30 cm diam at the base ; 30 cm height
